While perusing Twitter yesterday, I came across this message from Chitwood & Hobbs:

Under Armour has made clothing for the fictional football team, the Gotham Rogues, from Batman Rises. Typically, any movie related apparel is awful, add on top the fact the movie is about a comic book character and you have a formula for something truly awful. Surprisingly, the collection isn’t awful. In fact for some odd reason everything but the hats are made in the US. I don’t even know why. Nothing else on the UA site is made in the US except one USMC shirt.
I even asked customer service to be sure.

Why? This doesn’t make any sense. Every day apparel made in the US? No. Apparel for fictional team which was only introduced in the movie in order to blow up a stadium that is made in the US? Yes.
Someone please explain this to me.
